Good afternoon everyone, let us take a look on what we’re going to see in the penultimate round.
Ukraine, who’s still keeping a hope to get a medal, is playing China, that need to win in order to claim the title before the last round. Not an easy match for both teams, taking to account the psychological pressure.
India needs to get two points versus Georgia to maintain clear second, as Russia’s victory over South Africa is beyond any doubt.
Turkey with Greece is another principle match. Well, none of those two is fighting for medals, but the winner of this match will most likely leave the opponent behind in a final cross table.
A bit unlucky so far (they’re just half a point behind Russia if we would count board points), Armenians are playing Vietnam, the most unpredictable team of the tournament in my opinion. I won’t say something original - a lot of tense, a lot of fight, both in chess and psychology.
